SSC SI Police Notification 2023, Apply Now, Download Notification

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the SSC SI Police Notification 2023 for the recruitment of 1876 Sub-Inspector (SI) posts in Delhi Police and Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs). The online application process will start from 22nd July 2023 and will end on 15th August 2023.

The selection process for SSC SI Police 2023 will consist of the following stages:

1. Written Examination: The written examination will be a Computer Based Test (CBT) of two hours duration. It will consist of 3 sections, namely:
   • General Intelligence and Reasoning
   • Quantitative Aptitude
   • English Language
2. Physical Measurement Test (PMT): The PMT will be conducted to assess the physical fitness of the candidates. It will consist of the following events:
   • Height
   • Chest
   • Weight
   • Running
   • Jump
3. Physical Endurance Test (PET): The PET will be conducted to assess the stamina of the candidates. It will consist of the following events:
   • 1000 meters race
   • 900 meters race
4. Medical Examination: The medical examination will be conducted to assess the health of the candidates.

The final selection of candidates will be based on their performance in all the stages of the selection process. The final selection of candidates will be based on their performance in the written examination, PMT, PET, and medical examination.

The important dates for the SSC SI Police 2023 exam are as follows:

• Date of release of notification: 21st July 2023
• Starting date of online application: 22nd July 2023
• Closing date of online application: 15th August 2023
• Date of written examination (Stage I): October 2023
• Date of written examination (Stage II): November 2023
• Date of PMT: December 2023
• Date of PET: January 2024
• Date of medical examination: February 2024

The following are the eligibility criteria for SSC SI Police 2023:

• Age: The candidate must be between 18 years and 27 years as on 01st August 2023.
• Educational Qualification: The candidate must have a graduate degree from a recognized university.
• Physical Requirements: The candidate must meet the prescribed physical requirements of height, weight, chest, and vision.
• Nationality: The candidate must be a citizen of India.
